I ordered a pizza and was told online that it will be delivered by 12 noon. at 11:55, since I didn't get a confirmation email, I called and asked for a status update. They said they were waiting for a driver. I asked him what time did he think it would be here because I would be leaving for a meeting at 1 pm. He just kept repeating that they didn't promise delivery times and that the website shows a time at random and is not a promised time. I told him I would wait as long as I could and asked what my options were if I wasn't here when they did deliver it. He said that he didn't have time for me and was cancelling my order and to go somewhere else. I called and tried to speak to the manager and was refused. I called a third time and spoke to a woman who said the same thing, that customers cannot go by the time on the website. It will be delivered when they have time to deliver it.
I’ve always ordered from this Papa Johns and usually don’t have any issues but after tonight I will not be ordering from there anymore. Usually I don’t even have the urge to write a review. I ordered a pizza, said it would be delivered at 6:30. I get there might be traffic or accident but once it hit 7:15 I decided to call just to make sure everything was okay. A man answers the phone, greets me like they always do and before I could get out two words he yells at me that they aren’t taking anymore orders so he couldn’t help. A bit taken back but I said I understood they are busy but I have received my pizza. The man, during the whole phone call (even after I tried to be a bit understanding) talked over me, refuse to give me any answers other than it’s coming, and was so unnecessarily rude i finally said thank you and hung up. The current time is 7:30 and still no pizza and I don’t want to be yelled at by someone who, at his job, can’t be a little kind to a customer. Regardless of me being a customer or not, you don’t treat others a certain way and I’ll dammed if I pay someone to speak to me that way.
They told I will receive my pizza in 30 mins... no got it in 65 mins. Pizza wasn't cut, it was cold. Not good customer service at all.....
I am very annoyed with Papa John's. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to arrive around 930ish to 945. Last time I looked it was being boxed. Since I wasn't home I checked again to see if it was being delivered. So I track the order once more only to learn it was canceled. I called the store only for them to tell me that they had no drivers and that they aren't taking any new orders after canceling everyone's order. Not cool at all dudes.
Papa Johns “online ordering”....deplorable. Ever more so calling the store close by to place an order for “pick up” and greeted with unpleasant “can you hold”...hung up soon after...Seems like John has gotten too big for his “bragging britches”
