This is one of the best Food Lions I have ever been to and it is all because of the staff! They are friendly and helpful. They always take the time to talk to you, make sure you found everything you need and see if you need any help. I absolutely love this place!!
I gave 4 stars because it needs a deli. It is the only Grocery Store in the area and needs updating, preferably to a new location. Other than that, AWESOME Employees, especially Sybil and Charlotte, they are the main reason I still go there from time to time now that I live 20 miles away. They are worth the visit.
Garden City Food Lion has great discounts on meat. Probably the least attractive store in the chain. Needed a thorough remodeling and deli over ten years ago.
Absolutely love this Food Lion! Everyone is always in a good mood and so helpful. A few of the cashiers make sure to ask if you have coupons in case you forget and they always talk to you while your checking out (which I appreciate!) They really go above and beyond to be open and welcoming!
It's a decent supermarket, however the produce is usually a little old.
